58cm (w) x 48cm (h) including the original solid wood frame. Signed on the front by both the original artist ("Garry" on the left and my own, "LM a.r.p" on the right. It has a small description on the back about the artwork and a string across the back, ready to hang.
As per the point of the Art Revival Project, I’ve reimagined the original painting by hand-painting the elegant lady and two swans into the existing landscape, transforming the traditional scene into something a little more romantic, unexpected and entirely unique.
The original vintage frame has also been refreshed in Dulux Vintage White USA, giving the piece a lighter, more contemporary feel while retaining its vintage character.
The original artist’s signature remains visible, preserving a little piece of the painting’s history alongside my contemporary additions.
This is a one-of-a-kind altered vintage artwork — part original vintage find, part new work — with all the beautiful quirks and character that come with giving an old painting a second life.
