Vintage Mid-Century Oil Painting – Autumn Mountain Landscape in Wide Wooden Frame

A beautiful vintage original oil painting depicting a peaceful mountain landscape, framed by golden autumn foliage and towering trees. It is signed, but I can't quite make out the signature, possibly L. Whitman.

Rich earthy browns, burnt oranges, golden yellows and soft blue-grey tones bring this tranquil scene to life. A majestic mountain rises above a still lake, with warm sunlight reflecting across the water.

The painting features lovely textured brushwork, particularly through the autumn leaves, tree trunks and rocky mountain peaks, giving the artwork wonderful depth and character.

Presented in a substantial, wide wooden frame with a warm walnut-toned finish and subtle dark detailing. The frame beautifully complements the painting's autumnal palette and gives it a distinctly mid-century vintage feel.

A charming piece of nostalgic landscape art, perfect for a mid-century modern interior, vintage-inspired home, cosy reading nook or curated gallery wall.
