Welcome to the West Side was a finalist in the 2022 National Capital art prize at the Fitters’ Workshop in Kingston, Canberra.

An immense amount of design, skill and creativity goes into branding and signage to catch the attention of the passerby. This painting was created from Leonie’s appreciation of sign art mixed with its sweet pop art appeal.
